Teshuvah… something that struck me this morning as I was reading Psalm 105:41-43 (NKJV)
41 He opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant.
43 He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness.
I have some of those ‘dry places’, but He is so gracious and kind that He doesn’t just bring water… He is above and beyond what we could ask or hope for; He brings joy and gladness! He doesn’t just provide water; He brings wine! To make our hearts glad…the testimony of the Bridegroom King!
Teshuvah is also important because it a personal; individual time of turning and returning to our First Love; examining our hearts; knowing our need and making for help; asking for tender hearts… though it’s very personal; it also affects the corporate part of our lives walking with Jesus… my life/your life, is like a tiny thread the the Lord lovingly cares for and then ‘weaves’ it into a magnificent tapestry that shows forth the glory of God for all to see… trust Him today with that ‘tread’ of your life; He has some very personal things to say about how He sees you and how great His plan really is… Teshuvah today; turn and return, there is a wedding up ahead… joy and gladness from the hand of the Bridegroom during this season. je (look for the personal things that are on His heart for you during Teshuvah; spend the time to not just study the word, He has your heart in mind)
